Bob Knight resigned today. That was a surprise, especially since it wasn't accompanied by a huge blowup or anything. It certainly wasn't as eventful as his exit from IU in 2000! Still, there's no joy in Looperland tonight, I'd guess. Now I'm waiting for the inevitable speculation and/or posts wishing that he's going to come back to IU. So far I haven't seen any on Peegs, believe it or not!

The weather here has been crazy. We went from snow last night, to rain and warmer temperatures (so the snow turned into slush) and heavy fog today, and now we're supposed to get rain in the morning and anywhere from 4 to 9 inches of snow tomorrow night. Ick. The one good thing about being unemployed is that I don't have to get up early and drive in the bad weather. But how am I supposed to go gallivanting around in my new car if the roads are going to be awful? : )

Tomorrow is primary election day! It'll be interesting to see what the turnout will be. I'm sure you can't guess who I'll be voting for in the Presidential primary. : ) The local races are mostly uncontested, but there's one judicial race I'm not sure which way I'll be going on. And of course I'll be voting for the library referendum.
