The statements, and the answers... 1. I grew up a rabid Fighting Illini fan, and there are numerous photos in existence of me all decked out in Illini gear. TRUE. My whole family went to U of I, and I visited the campus numerous times growing up. It wasn't until my junior year of high school that I even considered going anywhere else - and IU was most definitely not in the picture until very late in the game. 2. I took an ad over the phone from Gary Cherone (while he was still with Van Halen) and he called me back on my direct line at work a couple times after that, just to chat. TRUE. Happened pretty much as I described it. He indirectly hit on me, too, through his manager. *lol* 3. My father used to be the mayor of Bolingbrook. TRUE. From 1981-1985. Still the last mayor of Bolingbrook not to be indicted or even investigated for anything. Which means that... 4. I was a cheerleader in sixth grade. A big fat LIE. I was super dorky, awkward looking, and klutzy - about as far from a cheerleader as one could get. : ) Despite this, I tried out for the squad twice (6th grade for 7th grade, and 7th grade for 8th grade) but I didn't make it. I guess I am a better liar than I thought. : )
